Which credentials, therefore, should you aim for? Here is a list of 10 EHS certifications to consider. Whatever your role or interests, you'll find something to suit your needs here.

Safety Certifications

The most outstanding certifications for safety experts are listed below:

1. Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Among safety professionals, this is the most popular license. According to BCSP

2. Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)

Certification in Professional Ergonomics is the highest standard for ergonomics/user experts. Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE), Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP) and Certified User Experience Professional are the three professional designations offered by BCPE. Your choice of title is determined by your area of expertise and job focus.

Regardless of which path you choose, certification can open the door to new opportunities.

3. Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM)

The CSHM certification is another good choice among safety experts. It's simple to see why professionals with this degree are in high demand because it emphasizes technical knowledge and business management skills. 4. Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

The Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential is a good choice if you want to develop your career in health and safety. The CIH certification is a worldwide recognized credential that displays your dedication to worker and community health and safety.

The IOSH Level 3 Certificate is a worldwide recognized qualification that demonstrates safety and health knowledge in the workplace.

Environmental Certifications

6. Registered Environmental Manager (REM)

Certified Professional Environmental Auditors perform compliance audits for utilities, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, universities, governments, and other organizations.

8. EMS auditor
